Henk Freeke BChD MSc (Implant Dentistry)
I attended the University of Pretoria from 1980 to 1987 attaining the Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Science degree [BChD]. I started a bespoke private dental practice in South Africa in 1990 and was one of the first dentists to use CEREC Cad/Cam computer technology to design and restore teeth with ceramic porcelain. I have a special interest in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Implant Dentistry linked with Orthodontics and have trained in the USA, Switzerland and Sweden in the implant field.
I gained postgraduate qualifications (PDD Clin Dent) in 1999 at the University of Stellenbosch and a Masters Degree in Dental Implantology at the University of Warwick in 2006. I attended the Pankey Institute (Florida) from 2001-2005. I am a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI).
I am married to Daleen (a graphic designer and fine artist) and have three teenage daughters. I enjoy good food and wine and love live music performances. My interests include travel, golf and scuba diving. I also hold a private pilots licence, am a keen amateur photographer (linking with clinical photography) and an active amateur sculptor. My wife and I love to travel and admire great art and architecture around the world.
