Giampiero Rossi-Fedele DipDent(Rome) MClinDent(Lon)

Giampiero Rossi-Fedele obtained his dental degree at the University of Rome in 1996 and has since practised in Italy, Spain and the UK. In 2005 he completed his Masters Degree in Clinical Endodontology, receiving a distinction, from the Eastman Dental Institute in London.

Giampiero offers endodontic services (root canal treatment) at Ringley Park for referred patients and has been part of the team at Ringley Park for 6 years. He has gained several prizes and distinctions, most notably the 'Best Academic Achievement Prize' during his MClinDent programme at the Eastman Dental Institute and also, the 'Dentply Prize' for best postgraduate at the Endodontology Unit, also at the Eastman. He collaborated with the Microbial Diseases Division at UCL and with PURCS University in Porto Alegre (Brazil) in research regarding tetracycline resistance, root canal antimicrobials - such as superoxidised water (Sterilox) and ozone. He has produced multiple publications in this field.

In addition, Giampiero is an Associate Fellow of the Institute of Clinical Education at the Warwick Medical School where he has been involved in the establishment of the MSc in Endodontics.
