Dentistry for Busy People
Computer Aided Dentistry (CEREC)
A unique system for the fabrication of all ceramic dental restorations in one visit. With Cerec at your dentist’s disposal you can be ‘in and out’ of the surgery in a single visit with a permanent all ceramic crown, inlay, onlay or veneer. For you the patient this means fewer injections, less drilling and less time out of your hectic schedule for dental care.
Here is a typical before and after case, this patient didn't like their old gold and amalgam fillings - so in one visit we replaced them with CEREC.
A Cerec tooth restoration is not just convenient it is also healthy. Many years ago dentists had few options to repair decayed and damaged teeth other than amalgam, gold and other metals. With Cerec your dentist can use strong tooth coloured ceramic materials to restore your tooth or teeth to their natural strength, beauty and function. These materials closely match the composition of natural tooth structure, allowing for the tooth and the restoration to contract and expand at the same rate. The material is also chemically bonded to the tooth, so the dentist can save as much healthy tooth as possible while providing you with a restoration that strengthens your tooth. Cerec is capable of producing any single tooth restoration. Chipped, heavily filled or discoloured front teeth can be repaired with beautiful Cerec porcelain anterior crowns or veneers. Your smile makes a lasting first impression. Enhance it with Cerec. Using metal free materials that are the closet to your natural enamel, Cerec gives you the highest quality restorative care. T Scan - Solving bite problems accurately
T Scan uses an intra oral hand held sensor that creates an amazingly accurate and revealing graphic representation of a patient’s bite. This information is acquired as a real time movie displaying the position, the strength and rotation of the context between the teeth of the upper and lower jaw. Also the balance of force between the right and left sides of the patient’s bite can clearly be observed.
This detailed information can dramatically improve the interpretation of the marks created by articulation paper and direct attention to specific areas of interference without any guess work or over adjusting.
The T Scan can be used for the complete evaluation and treatment of a patient’s entire occlusal scheme.
The T Scan is particularly useful for patients who suffer with TMJ joint problems, but can be applied to all aspects of dentistry ranging from minor restorative fillings to full mouth reconstruction and implants.
